We collect data in two ways: data you provide and data we collect automatically.
A. Data You Provide
When you create an account, register for an event, or interact with the platform, we collect the following information:
- Full name
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Country and city
- Gender (optional)
- Team or club affiliation (optional)
- Payment information (handled by third-party processor)
- Performance and event history (e.g. wins, losses, match times)
- Profile image (optional)
If you're an organiser:
- Organisation name
- Legal contact details
- Business identification info (if applicable)
- Payment information (handled by third-party processor)
B. Data We Collect Automatically
When you use Squared™, we collect the following information automatically:
- IP address
- Device type, OS, and browser
- Usage statistics (e.g. logins, time spent, feature clicks)
- Session data and errors (for bug tracking)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling beyond the ELO ranking system, which is performance-based and transparent.

We only share your data when necessary:
- Event organisers – to manage event participation, scheduling, and communications.

- Hosting & infrastructure providers – for secure data storage and platform performance.

You may request account deletion at any time (see Section 6). ELO rankings and anonymised performance stats may remain in historical leaderboards.
